如何判断树脂是否需要更换
简便的方法便是观察出水情况，如果软化后的水的硬度仍3PPM，且产水量明显减少，则表明离子交换树脂已失效，需要及时更换。如何判断树脂是否需要更换，还是要根据实际的产水情况决定，由于各地水质硬度不一，因此不能一概而论，如果树脂再生后，产水效果仍然很差，则需即时更换树脂。
油的污染及处理
矿物油对树脂的污染主要是吸附于骨架上或被覆于树脂颗粒的表面，造成树脂微孔的污堵致使树脂交换容量降低，周期制水量明显减少。
此时，应查明原因，消除故障，防止油继续漏入。对已受油污染的树脂可用~60℃的8%~10%氢氧化钠溶液循环清洗，清洗中保持溶液浓度。也可用适当的溶剂(如石油醚、200号溶剂汽油)或表面活性剂(如聚氯乙烯辛烷基苯酚)清洗。
